Privacy Policy
KT (Knowledge Transfer) makes short audio episodes and briefings hosted by Katy, an AI voice. This policy explains what information the KT app and trykt.app collect, how it’s used, and your choices. We don’t sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Profile you give us: the name Katy calls you, the interests you pick, and your briefing preferences.
- Account details, if you sign in: your email address and sign-in provider, so your library syncs across devices.
- Listening activity: which episodes you play and how far you got, used to resume playback and recommend episodes. In the mobile app this stays on your device.
- What you ask Katy: questions and episode requests you type or speak, so she can answer them. Topics you request may be produced as episodes that other listeners can hear; they’re never linked to your name.
- Invites: when you invite a friend, the name and description you enter are used once to pick episodes for them and aren’t stored.
- Payments, if you subscribe: handled by Stripe or Apple. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
To research, write and voice your episodes and briefings, personalize recommendations, keep your library in sync, answer your questions, and run and improve KT. We don’t use your information for advertising.

Your choices
- You can use KT without an account; your profile then stays on your device.
- You can edit your name and interests any time, and delete episodes from your library.
- To delete your account and its data, email us and we’ll do it within 30 days.
Children
KT isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
